Admissible Evidence
« Back to Glossary IndexAn admissible evidence is tangible or intangible evidence (photo, report, testimony…) that can be presented before a court to support a claim, contest an accusation, or demonstrate a fact.
Not all evidence is necessarily admissible: for a document or observation to be accepted, it must have been obtained legally and fairly, meaning without violating the right to privacy or without the knowledge of a third party without justification.
The reports from a licensed private detective are perfectly admissible in court, provided they are prepared according to professional standards. Groupe Hypérion conducts investigations in compliance with the legal framework, providing evidence admissible before labor courts or civil courts.
